Eigen

Eigen is an AI tutor designed to teach concepts, not just hand out answers. You give it a problem, slide deck, textbook excerpt, practice paper or a typed question and it builds a lesson around that material.

Lessons happen on a virtual whiteboard — diagrams, equations and worked examples are drawn while an explanatory voice talks you through the steps. Eigen pauses to check you’re following, asks you to try the next step, and adapts its explanation if you interrupt by voice or text.

It covers a wide range of school and university topics, and is used for keeping up with courses and preparing for exams.

• Subjects include calculus, statistics, physics, chemistry (including organic), biology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, economics, law and languages.

Eigen is freemium: free to start, with paid plans that increase lesson time and a family plan that provides a dashboard for parents. It runs in the browser on phones and laptops with no installation. Official site: https://eigenteacher.com/
